The app combines a completely correct climate forecast to your vicinity with a three-D map that suggests climate improvement in a bigger location in a completely enticing way. This lets you see wherein precipitation will fall or wherein the wind will blow.
The originality of the app comes from the amount of data displayed. It predicts global weather, precipitation, wind, cloud cover, pressure, snow cover, and other meteorological data at various altitudes. Moreover, the app is 100% free.
Wind animation
The Ventusky program handles the weather display problem in an unusual way. The wind is represented by streamlines, clearly showing the constant evolution of the weather. Airflow on Earth is in constant motion, and streamlines are a wonderful representation of that motion, showing that all atmospheric phenomena are interconnected.
Weather prediction
This app provides 1 hour weather forecast for the first 3 days. Other days are offered in 3-hour increments. You can also check the morning and sunset times for a specific location.
Models of weather
Thanks to the Ventusky program, visitors can now get data directly from numerical models previously used only by meteorologists. The software gathers information from the most accurate numerical models.
In addition to the well-known American GFS model and HRRR model data, data such as the Canadian GEM model and the German ICON model are also exhibited, which are rare in global resolution. EURAD and USRAD are two models based on current radar and satellite measurements. These models can accurately represent current rainfall in the United States and Europe.
Weather forecasts
Weather fronts can also be displayed. Based on data from weather models, we developed a neural network that predicts the positions of cold fronts, warm fronts, eclipse fronts, and stationary fronts.
